Your generous donations will go to the Friends of Manatee County Animal Services (FoMCAS), a charitable 501(c)(3) whose goal is to enrich the lives of the Manatee County shelter animals. FoMCAS has several campaigns: The Heal My Heart Campaign which funds heartworm treatment, the Grace & Friends Medical Fund which funds emergency medical situations, and the Slumber Fund which gets dogs off the cold concrete floor and onto a comfortable bed while in the shelter.

Meet Jiggy, an adorably sweet pup who can’t wait to meet you! Notice those patches on his back? This good boy just conquered his heartworm treatment — yay! His treatment was fully-funded by the Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare, so he can now go to a home happy and completely healthy!
While Jiggy’s still getting the hang of leash manners, he’s an absolute sweetheart! High energy and playful, he adores toys, treats, and giving you his full attention.
This good boy is great with kids who love hugs and kisses! In playgroups, he’s a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. We believe he can befriend other dogs after a proper meet and greet, but a cat-free home is best for him.

Meet Scuba, a lovely 6-year-old mixed breed pup who deserves a forever home. She found her way to MCAW after a tough journey of abandonment. Scuba can share a home with another dog, as long as they respect her space. She’s a little shy initially but quickly warms up, revealing her affectionate and playful nature. Scuba is a great leash walker, and at 41 pounds, she’s the perfect size for cuddles. Come visit this sweet soul at the Palmetto Adoption Center.
